Work Adjustment Training (WAT) - is designed to help individuals ease into the working world. Individually customized programs are developed to make this transition as smooth as possible. Skills taught include essential basics such as attendance, proper dress, and following supervision.
Extended Employment Services (EES) - is a long-term program where the rudimentary skills learned in WAT can be expanded upon. EES offers a sheltered work setting in which individuals with specialized needs can be productive citizens, bolstering self-worth and self-esteem.
Medicaid Waiver / Prevocational Services - offer more closely supervised employment to individuals with specific needs. The much higher staff to employee ratio provides the extra care and attention required to help these individuals succeed in a workplace environment.
The Adult Basic Education Program - available without cost to participants. At LSI interested employees can enhance existing skills or work on developing new ones.
